The Model 2 Premium lashes are our go-to, regular ties. A stage up in completing from our Classic line, the Premiums include vegetable tanned coating calfskin, richly painted edges, hand-tied waxed cotton line ties and sumptuous top cowhides from the absolute best tanneries on the planet. American-made, they rival lashes double their value, looking as astounding on a 50 year old vintage watch as an advanced apparatus watch.
Today, we’re eager to report three new increases to the Model 2 Premium line: Black, Rye and Mojave, which are all accessible now from shop.wornandwound.com
You can’t turn out badly with a black cowhide tie. Our new Black Model 2 Premium is ebony, with black Horween calfskin for the top surface, black edge paint and rope and black covering, and an especially luxury feel. The top cowhide is another one for us, with a medium sheen giving is an inconspicuous gloss and rich texture.
If there was one tone in the Worn & Wound program that we’d call famous, it’s Rye , and we’ve at long last made it accessible in our Model 2 Premium line. The rich, brilliant Rye calfskin is off-set by earthy colored edges and string, and upheld by relaxed wheat lining cowhide, giving the entire tie a warm range. We’ve yet to discover a watch that doesn’t look astonishing on Rye.
Lastly, we have our generally wild and maybe challenging lash to date, Mojave . Using a calfskin from CF Stead, a British tannery, the Mojave tie has a harsh out softened cowhide surface with a brilliant sand tone, veins of dull earthy colored going through it aimlessly, and zones of pale dim appearing on the other side. The look is suggestive of dried, broke earth, thus the name, yet the vibe of the lash is genuinely flexible. In view of the powerful idea of this calfskin, no two lashes look a like and may differ from the photos above.
And the writing is on the wall, three new ties to add to your assortment. All are accessible now in 18, 20 and 22mm for $89 at shop.wornandwound.com
