eBay Finds: Universal Genève Polerouter, Citizen Crystron Diver, and More

Watch Factoryif

rolex@watchfactoryif.common sense manual for purchasing vintage watches on eBay (look at Part 1 and Part 2 ). So if you’re searching for a vintage watch, however are still a little apprehensive making a plunge into those dinky waters, at that point don’t stress — we’re here to help!  Today, we have another portion of eBay Finds, our arrangement where we feature some incredible vintage jewels searching for another home. Glad hunting!

Universal Genève Polerouter

Universal Genève Polerouters are hot at this moment, and one gander at a decent illustration of one and you’ll see why. Planned by the incomparable Gerald Genta, Polerouters are ageless works of art (set out to find out about them here ). This model is in acceptable condition, with some legitimate patina on the dial/hands, however nothing really awful. The case seems as though it has been gently cleaned, be that as it may, for reasons unknown, these are infrequently found in unpolished condition. In any case, the bombé hauls actually look pretty sharp to my eye, and this one has the first marked crown too. These are generally recorded with swelled “buy it now” costs, so here’s an extraordinary chance to go after one at auction.

Movado Sub Sea

Here’s an overly fresh vintage Movado that looks it has been hauled straight out of a scene of Mad Men. It’s depicted as mint, which I believe is out of line, however it’s damn close. It has an exemplary 1960s tasteful with a truly perfect silver dial that includes a vertically-brushed completion and applied markers, which look accurately combined with a bunch of lume-filled stick hands. The 34mm case with its unique marked crown is as sharp and immaculate as possible at any point need to discover in a vintage observe shy of finding a NOS piece, and the manual development has all the earmarks of being spotless. The dealer expresses that the watch is running lethargic, so a help will probably be to get this in appropriate working condition, however this is a pearl of a watch at a sensible “buy it now” and I’d say it’s worth it.

Seiko Ref. 66-7109 Mechanical

Here’s another incredible hand-cranker (notwithstanding it being recorded as a programmed watch). This ’70s Seiko 66-7109 with its semi bullseye/area dial has an incredible energetic look. I particularly like the tone, which is an attractive dark blue (I’ve a few these in my time, and trust me when I say they look far superior face to face). The case looks unpolished, and the crown is right to the watch. Most amazing aspect all, this model comes with a unique dots of-rice arm band. These don’t normally go for something over the top and I would anticipate that that should be the situation here, so this one is an incredible buy.

Citizen Crystron Diver

Vintage Citizen divers are becoming more pursued, and the ones you for the most part experience are the mechanical variations with mercedes hands. Here is something somewhat unique — a truly decent illustration of an around 1979 Crystron diver with paddle hands. This is a later reference with the Crystron quartz development, it actually holds the extraordinary plan and look of the previous models. The dial and hands are sublime, and the case looks unpolished and the bezel is pleasantly blurred. Indeed, even the mineral glass gem is in extraordinary shape.
